Situated on 2.58 acres, the sunny southern orientation of Travertine Lodge ensures warmth during even the coldest winter nights, while several additional acres of open space to the west provide further privacy and protected view corridors. With a total area of over 5,000 square feet, the residence is thoughtfully divided into smaller, intimate spaces which allow for family and guests to find the perfect area to relax, rest, or dine with ease. Upon entering Travertine Lodge, one is greeted by the warm and casual atmosphere as the classic combination of French Country and Montana lodge seamlessly blend simplicity with luxury. To the left of the foyer lies the kitchen, complete with an apron-front sink and brick, wood and stone accents throughout, and which, perhaps more than any other room in the house, lends itself to a French Country look. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area with seating for eight; a covered deck just outside the dining area offers additional outdoor dining space for eight and is the perfect setting for sipping a glass of wine and enjoying the sun on warm summer days. The French countryside is synonymous with bright fields and lots of sunshine; Travertine Lodge was designed with this in mind, incorporating a multitude of windows allowing the space to be filled with a blanket of light. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Great Room, where stunning floor to ceiling windows infuse the room with natural light and offer stunning views of Pioneer Mountain. A grand candle chandelier and large stone fireplace provide additional warmth and a comfortable place to relax, whether reading a book or resting from a full day of skiing. Travertine Lodge features four bedrooms plus a bunkroom, as well as five full bathrooms and two powder rooms. The master bedroom and bath incorporate a mix of French country floral patterns, while large windows provide plenty of light and more dramatic views of Pioneer Mountain. Both inviting and practical, the downstairs includes a spacious living room, and a game room with pool table and wet bar, all with large windows that further frame views of the surrounding landscape. Outside, the lower patio with hot tub overlooks the Club's base area and provides incredible views of Pioneer and Cedar mountains, Yellowstone National Park, the Gallatin range, and YC Golf Course, with Yellow Mule and Eglise mountains to the south. A two-car garage with a mud room allows for easy storage and access at the end of the day.
