HIDEAWAY SKI LODGE 127 - 82 PUMICE RD

A ski lodge should embody the traditions set by alpine enthusiasts over generations: classic timber construction, warm and welcoming gathering spaces, and of course easy access to the slopes. Hideaway Ski Lodge is an archetypical home base for skiers embracing luxury and style. Located just below the top of the Hideaway Ski Lift, this home offers direct ski access to the Private PowderTM for which Yellowstone Club has become globally recognized. Not only can skiers explore the vast terrain of the Club's own Pioneer Mountain, but private lifts lead to additional trails found on nearby Lone Peak, which has been dubbed America's Biggest SkiingTM. Because skiers' needs are a priority here, one can literally ski from the lower patio to the lifts and back. Upon their return, skiers can choose to enter the home via the ski room, where convenient lockers, boot warmers, tuning bench, and changing area await. Or they may choose to remain on the patio by the outdoor fireplace, or return to the eight-person hot tub for après ski. At the end of a memorable day on the slopes, Hideaway Ski Lodge presents an architectural storyboard that spans the ages of Montana's living spaces. Log post-and-beam construction introduces a rustic-elegant feel right from the start, thanks to a grand porte cochere entrance. The entrance gracefully leads into an entry foyer, and from there one may choose to enter the study, or continue in toward the heart of the home. The focal points of the Hideaway Ski Lodge are the expansive common spaces that make up the kitchen, dining area, and great room. With vaulted ceilings and a massive double-opening fireplace separating the dining and great rooms, the atmosphere here echoes that of a historic mountain lodge. The kitchen is as well-suited to conversation as it is to cuisine, with a center island prep-space and plenty of seating together with state-of-the-art appliances, custom cabinetry, and temperature-controlled wine storage. Two open decks and one covered deck leading off of these common areas offer even more choices for large parties or intimate gatherings. In the tradition of ski lodge hospitality, there is ample accommodation for friends and family, with a pair of equally-well-appointed master suites with built-in fireplaces, two guest suites, and a bunkroom that sleeps 6. One of the lower level highlights of this residence is the welcoming family room, with a central fireplace, built-in bar, and additional wine storage. Adjacent to this space is a cutting-edge home theater, with built-in projection system and surround sound. And if, while relaxing in the family room, the urge to ski proves too great, the lower ski-access patio is just outside the door-down to the last detail, the Hideaway Ski Lodge is the skier's ultimate home base.
